Max is studying about the Wild Wild West this week in school. They are having a parade today and are all wearing western wear. They all looked so adorable. Max has been talking about dressing up all week. They got to make trail mix yesterday and his teachers said that they all had a ball. I think he looks so cute in his cowboy hat.

Bobby & Margret's Wedding Day 1957

This is a picture that was taken on Bobby & Margret's wedding day, 50 years ago in Kassel Germany. What a beautiful couple then and a beautiful couple now. They are a testiment to all of us married couples who struggle through everyday life.

Happy 50th Anniversary Bobby and Margret

Happy 50th Anniversary Bobby and Margret. Kevin's parents anniversary party was Friday, July 13th and the whole family got together for a surprise party for them. We had the party at Nancy's house and all hid in the garage and waited for them to arrive. When they pulled up in the driveway we opened the garage door and all yelled surprise. We all had such a good time. Margret and Bobby were both very happy that everyone had remembered the anniversary and that everyone was together for the first time in a very long time. They were both very sad all week thinking that no one had remembered their anniversary....what fun we had tricking them! I think all our lies were worth it in the end, but it was a week of deception and trickery. These are just a few of the pictures that I took from the party. I have several other peoples pictures as well that I will try and get added this week. We so enjoyed seeing everyone and wish that we all lived close enough to get together every weekend. It’s amazing how much more you miss someone when you finally do get to see them. We got to see Randall's daughter Carissa for the first time. What a joy she is. We had 4 generations at the party. Parents, Children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren. Kevin is the youngest of the Children so Max is the same age group as all of the great grandchildren. What fun the kids had all playing together for the first time. Max really liked being the oldest kid.

Stars Wars at the McWane Center

Max and Kevin went to a special breakfast at the McWane Center. They got to eat pancakes and hang out with the characters from Star Wars. Max was all excited and very brave until the Storm Troopers and Darth Vader walked in. Then Kevin said he put the death grip on his leg and wouldn't take a picture by himself with them at all. They did have a great time.

Of course he had no problem taking a picture alone with Princess Lea. I just hate this one turned our so fuzzy.
